Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026

1. About LawRevise

LawRevise is an independent online revision platform for University of London External LLB students. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to these Terms.

Important: LawRevise is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the University of London or University of London Worldwide. All trade marks belong to their respective owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a subscription. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use any payment method you submit.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Free tier: access to a limited set of content with no payment required.
  • Core and Premium tiers: monthly or annual subscriptions billed through Lemon Squeezy. Prices are displayed at checkout in your local currency where available.
  • Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Cancel anytime from your Account page to prevent the next renewal charge.
  • Refunds: we offer a 7-day refund on first-time purchases if you are unsatisfied. Contact us at support@lawrevise.com within 7 days of purchase. Renewals are not refundable.
  • Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice before increasing subscription prices.

4. Permitted use

Your subscription is personal and non-transferable. You may not:

  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.
  • Reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from any platform content without our written permission.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the platform.
  • Use the AI essay marking or AI tutor to produce work you submit as your own under any institution's academic honesty policy — you remain solely responsible for academic integrity.

5. Academic integrity

Our tools (attack plans, AI marking, AI tutor) are designed to help you understand and practise the law — not to produce assessments for submission. LawRevise is a revision aid. You are responsible for complying with all academic integrity requirements of the University of London and any other institution you are enrolled in.

6. Content accuracy

We take care to ensure our notes, attack plans, and past paper guidance are accurate and current. However, the law changes and UOL examination requirements evolve. Content on this platform is for revision purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Always verify the current state of the law and UOL programme regulations directly with official sources.

7. User-generated content

By posting in the Community Q&A or any discussion feature, you grant LawRevise a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your posts do not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that is abusive, misleading, or off-topic.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update content at any time to reflect changes in the law or examination requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawRevise's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including exam failure or loss of opportunity.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
